2019 Mission
Our final year at Gitithia focused around building them a kitchen. Ensuring the students have a meal at school was very important to us. Most days their only opportunity to eat would be at school.

In the kitchen we built a biogas system fueled by the cow dung from our dairy farm.

To finish off the kitchen project, Lashawn’s son, Kerwin Thompson painted a mural in the kitchen for display.

The medical clinic was open during this mission as well.
